- DURHA is from Japan. The band met each other in 2003 in a little county-town in England while they were studying abroad as exchange students. Later on they got together to create the band, DURHA. Creation of their music/ songs is always inspired by the beauty of nature, and always includes an imaginary and a unique creature, named "Dara", creating their songs texture. Dara is a tiny "being" created in the deep deep part of ocean. Floats in the dark and slowly, just like a bubble, floats up toward the light. Soon it awakes and learns feelings and emotions. Then reaches mother-earth with her arms wide open feeling the gentle light and warm rain. Dara hears a whisper, "communicate to the DNA" DURHA creates stories with Dara and express it in their music, which they hope will shake the soul.
